HI, I'M SARAH
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

I love binge watching Ted Lasso, savoring cupcakes with buttercream frosting, cuddles with my dog, and most recently I've been dabbling in cross country skiing and mountain biking. I also enjoy reading contemporary fictional novels and staying up way too late at night reading "just one more chapter" of a good book.

I also absolutely love working with college students and people in their twenties. For many, this is a time in life when so much self-discovery and growth happens. It can be really fun, and it can simultaneously be extremely challenging. I deeply enjoy the opportunity to witness my clients discover and own their strengths as they overcome their struggles and develop their confidence. It’s rewarding to help people develop mental health skills that lay the foundation for strong mental health throughout adulthood. I am so honored to sit with my clients during such a significant chapter in their life.

I have a background working in higher education, and over a decade of experience working with college students. I have a master’s degree in counseling from a CACREP accredited university, and am a National Board Certified Counselor through the NBCC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan and have been in private practice since 2018.  I am deeply passionate about social justice, and welcome clients of all identities. Due to my background and experience, I exclusively work with college students & young professionals.
