In my work with my clients, I take a HAES (Health At Every Size) informed approach to treatment. I follow the research that shows that dieting is harmful, health cannot be determined by size, and that bodies come in all different shapes and sizes; I believe that's a beautiful thing.
In our work together we will explore your current challenges, your beliefs about your body and eating, and implement evidence based strategies that can help you overcome unhealthy coping skills, negative thinking, identify & challenge toxic diet culture myths, and gain the confidence and peace that comes with recovery.
I utilize a person centered approach which means each client's treatment plan is customized to meet their individual and unique needs. I incorporate evidence based practices for eating disorders including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
I treat all eating disorders including Anorexia, Bulimia, ARFID, Binge Eating, Orthorexia, OSFED, & UFED.
